Chile - San Pedro Atacama and around

We didn't know what to expect from Chile, but what we did expect after not showering for 2days was a nice warm shower. Unfortunately, that's the only thing we didn't get the day we arrived. Apparently, since we were in a desert, the hostel (which although was the cheapest option we found at the moment, was still really expensive for South American standards)was short of water. Determined not to let a little thing like feeling grimey get us down, we walked around the cute little desert town. However, when the owner gave us the same bullshit about no water the next day, we moved out to another place. Same price, LOTS of water!

Our ambitious day of cycling - 20km on bumpy stoney desert "roads"!

Exploring a cave along the way (cueva de diablo)

Mirador over Devil's Mouth - before the desert storm started and there was sand everywhere... mouth, camera and shoes.
